Top 10 Listings in Edmonton

LuxuryHome

Even though I’m "in the business" I still enjoy checking out real estate listings online. I’m not addicted to it or anything (no house porn in my house) but it’s interesting none the less. I love seeing what $1 million dollars will get you and comparing it across different cities. The most expensive listing in Edmonton right now is asking $15 million and there are plenty more over the $1 million mark. Check out the top 10 most expensive listings in Edmonton and the 10 most expensive condo listings.

The Best Place to Find Real Estate in Edmonton Just got Better!

Many of our readers and clients are familiar with the MLS® search web site we launched last November, www.edmontonrealestate.pro. Even we were surprised when the site got over 400,000 page views in its first month; it now gets over 30,000 visitors and 650,000 page views per month. Obviously people love searching for MLS® listings at www.edmontonrealestate.pro so we decided to make it even better!

This video shows you some of the great new enhancements we've made:

The new features include:

  • draw your own borders on an interactive MLS® search map
  • search by property address
  • find homes close to the school of your choice
  • see only new listings (on the market 1, 7 or 31 days, your choice!)
  • check out foreclosure listings
  • manage your saved searches and favourite properties from your own control panel
  • get driving directions to properties
  • find out the “walk score” of each listing

We hope you love the new look and especially the new features at www.edmontonrealestate.pro.

Diversity

It is incredible how culturally diverse the Edmonton real estate market is today. While some manners and customs of doing business may seem strange to those of us born and raised in Edmonton, it's pretty cool when you can bridge the gap between a Scottish seller and an Afghany buyer.

This might be a good time to announce that we've grown a wee bit in recent months and we're pleased to say we now have agents that can help you in English, Cantonese, Hindi, Mandarin, Polish, Punjabi, Ukrainian, and Urdu. The real stars of our team are the people; the skills and passion they bring to the table for our cients are exceptional.  We interviewed over 30 people in the past 6 months to fill new positions with our company.

Edmonton REALTOR David LuongIntroducing David Luong. David comes to us via previous experience at Remax and Royal Lepage.  Although our requirements are more strict than he is used to, he is really keen on doing the best job he can for his clients and doing right.  David is also a qualified appraiser and brings a wealth of experience to the table in property valuation.  He is an avid snow boarder and brings an incredible energy to our team. david@teamjohnston.com

Edmonton REALTOR Bill BhamraAlso introducing Bill Bhamra.  Bill has an extensive background in the IT industry and public sector. Bill comes highly recommend by someone that is one of my most trusted life mentors.  He is an avid real estate investor and brings years of investing experience along with his IT and consulting backgrounds to his clients.

Edmonton REALTOR Mary MokAnd to round our trio out we are also introducing Lai Ping (Mary) Mok. Mary knocked my socks off in our interview.  Not only does she have a background in finance, she was exceptionally well organized.  Her background working in the fast paced financial sector in Hong Kong was proof enough for us she could handle the stress of working in the real estate industry in Edmonton.

All of our additions have been extremely successful in their past careers and would welcome their family and friends to contact them here in their new career.
